& Cancellation Policy

These Booking Terms apply to all experiences, activities, and services provided by Dundas Explorer, unless otherwise agreed in writing. By booking or participating in an experience organized by Dundas Explorer, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Bookings

A booking is confirmed once you have received written confirmation from Dundas Explorer.

For some experiences, full payment may be required at the time of booking. In other cases, an invoice or payment instructions will be provided after the booking request has been accepted.

All bookings are subject to availability.

Prices

All prices are stated in the applicable currency unless otherwise specified.

Dundas Explorer reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of obvious errors or changes beyond our control, such as taxes or mandatory fees. Any confirmed booking will not be affected by later price changes.

Cancellation by Participants

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms may vary depending on the type of experience, but unless otherwise stated:

  • More than 14 days before the experience: full refund

  • 7–14 days before the experience: 50% refund

  • Less than 7 days before the experience: no refund

For private groups or customized experiences, separate cancellation terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation or Changes by Dundas Explorer

Dundas Explorer reserves the right to cancel or modify an experience if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Safety considerations

  • Insufficient number of participants

  • Illness or unforeseen circumstances affecting guides or partners

In such cases, participants will be offered:

  • A rescheduled experience, or

  • A full refund

Dundas Explorer is not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses.

Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the activity they have booked.

Participants must:

  • Follow the instructions of guides at all times

  • Inform the guide of any relevant health conditions or limitations

  • Use appropriate clothing and equipment for outdoor conditions

  • Act responsibly toward other participants and the natural environment

Dundas Explorer reserves the right to exclude participants from an activity if their behavior compromises safety or the experience of others.

Outdoor Activities and Risk

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. By participating in an experience organized by Dundas Explorer, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.

Our guides and partners take reasonable precautions to ensure safety, but participants join activities at their own responsibility.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful under applicable law.

Force Majeure

Dundas Explorer cannot be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Natural events

  • Government restrictions

  • Transport disruptions

  • Other unforeseen events

Photography

During experiences, photographs may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in photographs, please inform your guide at the beginning of the experience.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from bookings or participation in experiences will be handled under Norwegian jurisdiction.
